ONLINE TRAVEL BOOKING SYSTEM: You can access our online booking system for air, car and hotel by going to: hrTICO.com/air. This online system allows you to charge air travel to Tico's corporate credit card (saves you from having to use personal credit and you don't have to put in for reimbursement). The system also AUTOMATICALLY applies any corporate discount programs we have. You are subject to being charged back if you book travel that is not in keeping with our travel policy.
CAR RENTALS: You are always welcome to check with car rental companies without using our ID numbers, but you will lose certain perks or negotiated pricing by doing so.

AirBnB TIPS:
Our stays are typically much longer than the average AirBnB stay: message “host” and ask for a better deal. Hosts are able to lower their price just for you and send you an invite to book at that lower rate. Read listings carefully, though. Some hosts specifically list lower rates for longer stays.
Newer listing have fewer reviews and reviews drive bookings. If you select a property with fewer reviews, message the host saying that you write amazing reviews for nice places (if s/he gives you a better price).
Make sure you understand the details of how the check-in process works. Some properties have lockboxes (key inside) or combination door locks, but some properties require you to connect with a person to gain access. Requiring one-on-one connection can make for a frustrating check-in.
FurnishedFinder.com: A specialized resource for 30-day and greater stays, but with a few key differences from traditional advertising sites. Their target is Traveling Professionals on work assignments who require at least one month of Furnished Housing. Furnished Finder does not charge any booking fees.
VRBO: Similar to AirBnB (owned by the Expedia Group). Similar to AirBnB and they do cater to “nicer” properties. That said, depending on where you’re going, time of year, etc. you may find properties here at very reasonable rates for longer term (i.e. weeks) rentals. Here too, you can message owners to see if their pricing could be better for a longer term stay, of course mentioning that you’re traveling on business, work most hours and would be a very low wear-and-tear guest (no kids and no parties). Messaging owners is easy through their online system.
AIR:
These air corporate IDs won't save you money, but they sometimes provide you with an extra perk such as preferential boarding, reduced baggage fees or something similar).
